Playing Guidelines:

Our goal is to put players in a position where they can succeed and feel good about playing the game of volleyball. We will play to compete to the best of our ability each game.

12 and under As equal a playing time as talent allows. Concentrate on passing and serving fundamentals.

13 - 14 At this level players should start learning the different positions and playing different positions where they can help the team. Every player needs to play at least a ½ a rotation per match.

15 and over Players play positions and specialize where feasible in their best position. All players should play at least a ½ a rotation per day

Position Breakdowns

Setters Each grade level should try and develop at least 3 setters.Do not choose setters by height. Choose them by volleyball IQ, athletic ability and ability to lead.

Libero Each grade should try and develop at least 2 defensive specialists and one of these may become a libero down the road.

Hitters Hitters should learn middle and outside hitter positions.

Serving at the13 and older level should be all overhand.

During playdates we really try and develop all the players the best we can.

Tournament time put the best lineups together keeping in mind playtime time guidelines for your team.

Players who skip practice unexcused, put themselves before the team, have attitude issues or have done something to cause themselves disciplinary action are not guaranteed playing time under playtime guidelines.
